Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge #66 - Clueless

This was a fun challenge, total girlie-girl, and I totally forgot about all the plaid that was worn in this movie.. So I went with a fancy shopping bag and bag charm. I figure the stores and boutiques Cher shops at probably has some fancier bags. This plaid paper really reminds me of Burberry :o).

I have to say as I re-watched the movie yesterday that it made me a little sad. I was always a big fan of Brittany Murphy, so sad she passed at such a young age.

Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge #65 - Sleepless in Seattle

This is another one of my favorite movies. Whenever I'm watching it on TV, my husband says, "not again!". I, like Nancy, am fortunate to live in the Pacific Northwest, and I'm happy to say that this past year it has not rained 9 months straight....atleast not yet, LOL!

So, I had to go with the Empire State Building scene when Annie was dining with poor Walter and the heart lit up on the building. "It's a sign" said Annie. I thought this background stamp fit the movie pretty well, expressions from the past with his wife, son, and the future with Annie.

Well, sorry to make this short. I must get my sleep for the trek into Seattle to work tomorrow morning. Good night!

Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge #64 - Titanic

I have to say Titanic is one of my all time favorite movies. So much so that we named our two black labs after Jack and Rose :o) But anyway, there's so many memorable quotes and scenes in this movie I had a hard time making up my mind on a design for my card. For some reason I kept going back to the end of the movie when Rose pulled out the necklace, never revealing it to anyone though. I think not only was it the memories she had of Jack but the necklace...The Heart of the Ocean...which she kept hidden for all those years along with her secrets. Then, I especially love how they're reunited in the end. Yes! I too was bummed when Jack died, but she's with him forever now! sigh....It is quite the love story!

My card is very simple, but I hope you understand the meaning behind it. Thanks!

Cinema Saturday Creative Challenge #32 - Twilight

Alright, so I'm a HUGE Twilight fan! LOL, like so many of you I'm sure. :o) My friend called me last night and told me I had to check out this challenge, click here, and design a card for it. I had such a hard time coming up with something for some reason. So, as my son is playing baseball in the rain as we speak, I got this idea to do something with baseball since that's something the Cullen's like to do. I added a little bling on the baseball cap to make a 'C' for Cullen, added the heart on the baseball and then the quote from Edward when Bella asked him about vampires liking baseball? So, there you have it :o) Thanks for looking.
