I've seen so many really cool designs others have posted, it finally got me in the mood to try it myself. I'm thinking I may just have to make one for my sisters birthday.

Lots of Hearts

My stamp club met this past weekend and here's one of the cards we made. I cased it from my upline, Nancy, (check out her blog) and just made a couple changes. The design of this card gave the stampers a chance to try out several of the new products. They used the new repositionable stamps on clear blocks, the new small heart punch & pinking hearts border punch, and the scalloped heart embosslits die, LOVE IT! I have to say, I'm lovin these new repositionable stamps, they're just alot more versatile, and the blocks are way too cool! Plus just think of all the space you'll free up too :o).

All SU! Supplies:

Stamp set: I {Heart} Hearts, Well Scripted

Ink: Real Red

Paper: Real Red, Whisper White

Other: Clear Blocks I and C, Big Shot, Embosslits Scalloped Heart die, Small Heart Punch, Pinking Hearts Border Punch, Real Red Grosgrain ribbon, Dimensionals

The Chocolate Bunny

I don't know why I've been in the Easter mood lately with my card designs, but I just got this new Chocolate Bunny stamp, from the SU! mini catalog, and had to share. Isn't it too cute! I'm not sure if you can tell from the picture, but I stamped him with Chocolate chip ink on Close to Cocoa cardstock, cut the bunny out and stamped it with Versa Mark, then used clear embossing powder. I think this little guy is going to be very popular :o)

Ink: Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink
Paper: Close to Cocoa, Bashful Blue, Pretty in Pink, So Saffron, Whisper White

I luv stamps

Here's another new set from the Occasions mini catalog. This is Tote-ally Tess, isn't she cute...remind you of anyone? LOL! I used blender pens with the different colored ink pads to color in Tess. The bag I stamped on Shades of Spring DSP then cut out. What's cool about the background is I put that together myself using the clear blocks. I positioned 4 of the accessory stamps from the set on a block and stamped away. So, that's another plus using the repositional stamps :o)

All SU! Supplies:

Stamp Set: Tote-ally Tess

Ink: Night of Navy, Bravo Burgundy, Close to Cocoa, Basic Black

Paper: Certainly Celery, Rose Red, Whisper White, Shades of Spring DSP

Other: Blender Pens, Clear blocks, Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon, Dimensionals

Vintage Vogue and Edward

Hello, hope you all had a fabulous Christmas and New Year. It's hard to believe we're starting a new year, doesn't it seem like they're just flying by....is that the sign of old age or life is just too busy? Well, whatever it is I'm looking forward to having a great year and I hope you all are too.

I was so excited today, I finally got to break out my new stamps from the Occasions mini catalog and play. I had to give these clear mount stamps a try and they were awesome. Just like using the woodblock stamps. These are definitely going to help if you've got space or storage issues :0) I hope you take some time and peruse through the new mini catalog, there are some fabulous stamps and accessories in there that I know you'll love. If you want your own catalog, just contact me and I'll be sure to send one to you.

Okay, I have to share with you what my lovely sister surprised with at work. I'm in my managers office discussing something and I turn around and see my niece, who's 7, standing there with a big smile on her face. I'm like, what are you doing here and then in walks my sister with Edward! Oh geez, I pretty much screamed and then shut the door on them because I was soooooo embarrassed. But anyhoo, everyone enjoyed having him part of our work day, it was pretty funny listening to the comments from all the women walking by to check him out. I brought him home in fear of someone nabbing him. So, he's in my stamp room watching over me while I stamp:o) and freaking out my sons everytime they walk in, LOL!
