Happy Turkey Day!

Yes, I'm still alive! It's just been one of those months with too many things going on all at once. I've been stamping, but just haven't been able to post anything. So, today I thought I'd share with you what we did at this months Stamp Club. The hostess for the month wanted a Thanksgiving theme, so here are the three cards we put together. The last two cards I borrowed ideas from Splitcoast, sorry I can't remember who the designers were, but thank you! :o) The turkey card I cased from 321Stamp, click here.

Mojo Monday #109

Hi! It's been awhile since I've done a challenge, so I thought I'd jump back in with the Mojo Monday sketch challenge. I used one of the new hostess stamp sets from Stampin' Up's Holiday Mini Catalog, Patterned Pines. I stamped the trees in Real Red, sponged Frost White Shimmer Paint then stamped the image. It gives the image a shimmery softer look, hopefully you can see that in the picture.
All SU! Supplies:
Stamp Set: Patterned Pines, Short & Sweet
Ink: Garden Green, Real Red
Paper: Garden Green, Old Olive, Chocolate Chip, Very Vanilla, Merry Moments DSP
Other: 1" & 1 1/4" Circle Punch, Frosted White Shimmer Paint, Sponge, Dimensionals, Chocolate Chip Grosgrain Ribbon

Mini Envelope Album

Hi! Boy it's been awhile since my last post. We just got back from our stamping cruise and thought I'd share one of the projects we did. There was 20 of us stampers that went and we had a fabulous time. The weather was absolutely gorgeous! We never know what the weather's going to do around this time of year so we were really lucky. It's a long weekend getaway, we don't go far but it's still alot of fun. We set sail from Seattle, head up to Canada and stop at Victoria, then onto Nanaimo and back to Seattle.

So, here's one project my upline, Nancy, demonstrated. I just love this little project and it really isn't all that difficult to make. There's a great tutorial over on Inking Addict Designs, click here. Nancy made a few small changes, like making it about half the size but it's pretty much the same as the tutorial. I'll post more projects later. :o)

It's A Backpack

Hi, my stamp club started over the weekend and this is the project we went with. Perfect for starting the school year off, so there were several girls that joined their moms in making this cute backpack.

I found a template and instructions on Splitcoast, here. One change I made in the box part was using the Fancy Favor Die. It was the perfect dimensions to fit the flap and pocket. These are perfect to hold little treats or a gift card in. Have fun!

All SU! Supplies:
Big Shot, Fancy Favor Die, Crushed Curry Polka-dot Grosgrain Ribbon & Pumpkin Pie Grosgrain Ribbon, Melon Mambo, Razzleberry Lemonade, Flower Designer Brads
