My neighbors daughter wanted to make a card for her piano teacher this past weekend. Here's the design I came up with. She did a great job following my design and I'm sure her teacher loved receiving a handmade card from her too. I really liked how this card came out too, I always like the chocolate/pink combo, can't go wrong there. LOL!

Kristina's Color Challenge #38

Well, here's my card for Kristina's challenge. I'm not sure I really like how it turned out, but I'm sticking with it. Too tired to work on another one right now. LOL! I realized I didn't have any Ruby Red cardstock, so I used Riding Hood Red instead. I guess I'll have to add a packet of Ruby Red to my next order. I'm so glad it's Friday tomorrow, it's been a long week, ugh!

Stationary Box

I've been wanting to create one of these stationary boxes ever since I saw it on one of my favorite blogs, Dannies Designs. I know I refer to her alot, but she is an excellent designer and creater. She put together a great video tutorial, click here. I also got some great ideas for this project from a seasoned SU! demonstrator, Kristen.

Following the tutorial made it very easy to put together. I know friends, teachers, family would love to receive a gift like this, especially when they know you made it. :o)


Inside the box are 3 standard cards, 3 mini cards, 3 tags, post-it note holder and a pen.

Sweet Cupcakes

Tomorrow is a birthday lunch with some girls at work. It's always fun getting together away from work, for a bit, and hang out with this group. So, here's the card I did for the birthday girl. She loves the color green, so I used alot of the Kiwi Kiss from SU!. Also, below I never decorate the inside of a card and thought I'd try something new. I love how it looks! Just gives it that extra WOW when they open up the card. Hope she likes it.
